WHAT MAKES CHANGE TRICKY

Has there been a moment in your life where you wanted a change but there was something holding you back? Well there really was.

Habits make us feel safe, so we tend to repeat the same patterns, in our minds AND in our bodies. We hold tensions too. Some of them we know, others we are unaware of and we are probably used to most anyway.

And this is the tricky bit. We hold on to what we are used to, even if though it may be dysfunctional and unhelpful to our lives. This is reflected on the way we perceive ourselves and the reality we are living in.

Luckily, all of these tensions are completely unnecessary and patterns can be unlearned.

HOW TO GET THERE

My relationship with tensions and change was transformed when I discovered the Footwork Technique, which involves every part of the body through the touch of the feet, and identifies how a person loses energy by making unnecessary efforts.

The technique was created by Avi Grinberg, developer of the widely-used practice Holistic Reflexology, as well as founder of the Grinberg Method, which itself is practiced in Europe, Israel and the USA.

As a certified practitioner, I integrated it with bespoke programmes to create a unique 3-step system. We DISCOVER the old patterns, SHAKE them, and INTEGRATE the more functional ones. That is how you can surrender to change and happily land into your new reality.

FIFTY SHADES OF BRAVE

Prior to becoming a Practitioner I graduated in Communication and got a Sensory Design MA. Conveying specific sensations and exploring change and creativity have been my bread and butter for more than two decades.

After all these years I have come to realise there are many ways to be brave. Courage is not only about daring, taking giant steps and getting out of your comfort zone. I promote an approach that involves kindness, playfulness and vulnerability. And the curiosity to dig into one’s truth.

I moved to London from Italy in 2014 looking for a new path, and the journey was beyond what I could have predicted. The more I wanted to fit in with my new reality, the more challenging it became. Change became possible when I found the right support and learned how to let go.

I am honoured to take onto this adventurous journey whoever is curious enough to welcome change.
